Bonner General Health offers Childbirth Education classes to help parents-to-be learn what to expect both during and after pregnancy.
All classes are held in Suite 101 of the BGH Health Services Building located at 423 N. Third Avenue, in downtown Sandpoint.
Classes are free and no registration is required, refreshments will be served.

Week 1 ~ Labor & Delivery

Week 2 ~ Breast Feeding Techniques & Tour of BGH Family-Centered Maternity Unit

Speaker – Angie Shadel RN, Certified Lactation Consultant
Week 3 ~ Newborn Care & Post Partum Mom
- Newborn care & safety
- Car seat information
- Things to expect after you go home
- Developmental expectations
Speakers – An Obstetrician from Bonner General Health & a local Pediatrician
Week 4 ~ Guest Speaker
Every 4th week a guest speaker will present information related to pregnancy, delivery, post-partum topics, and newborn care.
August 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
October 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 23rd
December 4th, 11th, & 18th (only 3 classes in December)
All classes are on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
