Kootenai Cancer Center at Bonner General Hospital opened in June 2007 and offers patients outpatient chemotherapy treatments in a comfortable, closely-monitored atmosphere. The cancer center is staffed with certified oncology nurses dedicated to patient advocacy and compassionate care. Throughout chemotheray administration, nurses monitor patients for comfort and side effects. They take time to help patients understand their medications, answer questions as they arise and lend a compassionate spirit to the treatment process.
